The Visionary

Our Head Visionary, Julia Sewell, has tapped into her gifts of teaching, service and international climate change from the age of 7.

At the divine age of 12, she began speaking in front of youth and educators, spreading the word of the power of service, climate change and showing young people how they too could be involved in changing the world.

Sewell created her very first curriculum: SWAG (Scholars Working to Ascend a Generation)at the age of 24 and has served in over 30 states, 50 schools and 20 parks and recreational centers using her gifts of motivation, inspiration and elevation.

She has led women’s empowerment gatherings all around the U.S, Dominican Republic, Germany and France to name a few.

The Vision

In 2020, Sewell took her vision international and founded Sacred Space Village in the Dominican Republic as a sister service site where black and brown village based community healing can take place in the heart of nature.

In 2022, Sacred Space and the surrounding community was hit HARD by Hurricane Fiona and this expanded the vision. Our community watched as thousands of families were left with nothing and no plan to recover after the disaster. This sparked an expansion in Sewells’ vision.

The vision was clear: provide safe spaces of healing and recuperation to black and brown people using the power of village and community.

We do this by providing working as a healing space to any aligned spirit who may need it.

In addition, we will work with 33 people every month to get fresh food to their homes directly from our gardens. We want our local community to live lives where they THRIVE no matter what life brings them. We provide a community of support, direction and assistance to these youth and their families along the way.
